Forest Electric New York (Forest NY) completed electrical work for eight levels at Nomura Holdings’ New York offices, including trading and executive floors.

Client Objectives
Expanding into a new location in New York City, Nomura Holdings needed electrical infrastructure and upgrades to power their offices, trading floors, kitchen, and dining facility.
Solutions
Forest NY installed emergency power infrastructure, lighting systems, and controls, as well as wiring for all kitchen and dining equipment.
To meet the client’s emergency power needs, Forest NY installed:
- Four one-megawatt generators
- Paralleling switchgear
- Emergency distribution switchgear
- 13 automatic transfer switches and load banks
Our team also installed LED and fluorescent lighting systems, all controlled by a centralized computer and integrated with audio-visual equipment. We equipped the boardrooms, executive offices, and conference rooms with localized dimming controls, allowing occupants to tailor lighting levels to their preferences.
Finally, we performed wiring for all kitchen and dining equipment, including grills, pizza ovens, warming stations, dish conveyors, and cash registers.
