Forest Electric New York (Forest NY) was contracted by AllianceBernstein to perform a tenant fit-out at their New York offices. We installed sophisticated electrical infrastructure for 45,000 square feet of key publishing, security, office, and conference facilities. The results include enhanced publishing capabilities, improved security, and increased employee and visitor safety.
Client Objectives
To support the complex needs of their core business, AllianceBernstein sought to renovate their offices’ power and telecommunications infrastructure.
Solutions
Forest NY first installed power risers, which were connected to local branch distribution panels inside electrical closets.
Since the client’s printing operation occupied half of the space, our team installed two distribution panels on columns in the printing center, as well as power receptacles for commercial publishing equipment.
We also installed complex structured cabling and power systems in the global security center to power a wall of video screens monitoring activities at the client’s facilities worldwide.
Finally, our electrical telecommunications scope involved:
- Wiring two conference rooms
- Installing lighting fixtures, including:
- Cove lighting
- Down lighting systems
- Two-by-twos and two-by-fours
- Installing all standard power outlets
- Wiring life safety and fire alarm systems for office and conference rooms
