Electrical Construction & Electrical Power Distribution Solution
FOREST ELECTRIC VALUE DELIVERED
The ability to meet the needs of a specific customer segment with a new, highly secure and reliably available service.
ELECTRICAL SERVICES SCOPE OF WORK
Forest Electric provided redundant power from different services and installed three roof-mounted diesel generators. To ensure 00 percent uninterrupted service, Forest installed two rotary uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, plus two additional roof-mounted generators that provide constant power for eight seconds in the event of a power failure. That is just enough time for the main generators to power up. To distribute this power, Forest Electric also installed six switchboards, 12 distribution switchboards, and four electrical power distribution units, each with redundant feeds.
To tie everything together, Forest Electric installed 5.2 miles of conduit from the sixth floor to the roof and 22 miles of feeder cable in the conduits. Branch circuiting, consisting of 389 miles of wire in 9.1 miles of conduit, was also installed. Forest Electric factory tested all commercial electrical equipment on site.
